Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

After playing around with this palette for a month; I can finally write a review! Quick story behind this; I've been searching for this palette for months! It wasn't until one morning in Legal studies that it launched on Mecca Maxima...so I placed my order and here we are now.

Before I get into my review; I'd just like to mention how incredible it smells! I adore the subtle scent of peaches.- if you find this in store, just go and smell it, it's like being transformed into another world....Also this packaging is adorable! Too Faced have killed it once again.

In this beautiful palette; there are 18 warm shades, ranging from mattes to shimmers. There are peachy pinks, corals, bronzes and a few shades of purple. You can create so many looks using this palette from day to night wear! I especially love 'puree' and 'summer yum'. Some of the shimmers such as 'bellini', I found were best to apply with a wet flat top brush for full pigmentation. Other than that, as expected from Too Faced, the shades are so buttery and easy to blend.

What I love most about this palette is that every shade is wearable. Unlike the other palettes from Too Faced, there is always one or two shades that I find it difficult to make use of. With that being said, even the corals, 'just peachy' and 'candied peach' are very easy to use! You can apply them into the crease, blending them out with some of the warmer browns like 'charmed, I'm sure'. It stills looks natural and effortless!

I picked up this palette at Mecca Maxima for $72AUD. It is unfortunately limited edition and I do believe it is not online anymore! However, if you do come across this palette at any stage, I highly suggest you buy it because it is so worth it!

Love always,
Sara

2016 May Favourites ♡

Hello my friends, it has been a while... I haven't done a favourites post in what feels like forever! (just the last two months)... Truth is, I've been so caught up in my imagination rather than facing reality. I've been running away from all my problems...worst thing to do, I know but i'll save that for another post. Any-who, these are my favourites from the past three months.. Warning - this is a long one!

♡ Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment: I honestly have the worst nails! they are so small, weak and brittle. I blame it on wearing acrylics for months at a time... For a while now i've been searching for something to get my nails healthy again. It wasn't until I received this in the post that my searching came to an end. This product is absolutely amazing! it is designed to be a top and base coat, a strengthener, ridge-filler, brighter, moisturiser and lengthener. My nails feel so much stronger!

♡ Sleek MakeUP Brow Kit: This kit is incredible. It includes a wax and powder and comes with mini teasers and two mini brushes. Both the wax and powder work really well on my brows. They look natural yet still full and defined. I've been getting so many compliments on my brows because of this product so that pretty much says it all. You can purchase Sleek MakeUP at Target in Australia or Sephora online.

♡ Sleek MakeUP Face Contour Kit in 'light': I've been so obsessed with bronzing and highlighting this past month. I love love love this bronzer/contour shade because it's not too orange (in real life) or too ashy. It blends out so well! It has a slight sheen to it which looks healthy on the skin! Also, the highlight is gorgeous. It's a classic white champagne shade that catches the light so beautifully. It's very affordable if you're looking for a high quality highlight and contour shade.

♡ Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in 'Gleam': As mentioned above highlighting has been my favourite thing lately.. All four of these shades are so pigmented! My favourite is 'crushed pearl'. All the shades have a stunning sheen that adds the right amount of glow to the skin. I apply my highlight with a trusty fan-brush from Real Techniques. I've never owned anything from Anastasia so thank you to my beautiful best-friend Ron AKA Beronce for buying me this from America :)

♡ Kylie Lip-Kit in Posie K: I did a full review on the Kylie Lip kits here. I've never been one to wear matte lipsticks, however, I've been loving wearing this one. I have been getting a tonne of compliments on it too! This shade is a beautiful medium-pink. The product glides on really smooth and opaque with one swipe. The formula lasts very well.. this one in particular I found to be more comfortable than Candy K - not sure why but it is bearable with a little lip balm. The packaging is super cute and the quality is real nice so go try some out if you have the chance.

UGH! - The 1975

Movies:
Allegiant - I saw this movie in April and loved it! I adore the Divergent series and any movie with Theo James to be honest.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - An oldie that I keep re-watching; It's funny how you can relate yourself to a movie. I don't want to get too into this but you'll probably understand if you have seen it or read the book. I love this film, the soundtrack and all round the message it brings. Check it out if you haven't!

Dirty Grandpa - this movie was so funny! any movie with Zac is a win to be honest. It's a little cheeky so be aware of that! Some parts are a little cringe worthy but it is a good laugh.

Bad Neighbours 2 Sorority Rising: Another Zac movie; this movie was hilarious! I loved the first bad neighbours so I had high expectations. I also love the cast in this one! This is the type of movie you shouldn't take too seriously; they do address some big issues such as feminism, so maybe avoid it if it's a sensitive topic to you.

Tv Show:
Gossip Girl - first off I'd like to thank Chase Crawford aka Nate Archibald for coming into my life. I have no idea why it took me so long to start watching this show - it's amazing! It makes me feel all kinds of emotions. I was a little disappointed in the last season, but the others were real good.

Application:
Spotify - this make me giggle because I was always that person that complained about how bad Spotify is. - I actually had no idea how to use it. I've discovered so many amazing tunes off this app so go download it if you haven't!

And that is it! thank you for being patient for the lack of uploading. School is painful this year and it's been hard to stay motivated! Hope you have a lovely week!

Love always,
Sara
