LUSH Haul

Throwback to 2014 where all I would post was about LUSH! I went to the wonderful store today and picked up a few goodies. There wasn't much selection unfortunately and there weren't many Easter products either... I purchased just four of the bath products as I was kind of running low (total lie).

- Top left 'Sakura' bath bomb
- Bottom left 'Which came first?' bath bomb
- Top right 'Intergalactic' bath bomb
- Bottom right 'Bunch of carrots' bubble bar

Sakura bath bomb: the beautiful Japanese cherry blossom inspired bath bomb! this one is quite a gentle scent of jasmine and orange blossoms. It creates a beautiful bath with specks of blue and pink. I have used this one before and it's so comforting!

Which came first? Easter bath bomb: My favourite thing about this bath bomb is the rattling noise of the hidden object inside. According to the website, this bomb can be used up to three times if you crack it open... or you could use it all at once. The scent is described as 'fruity and sweet' however, it reminds me of the twilight bath bomb (a favourite of mine).

Intergalactic bath bomb: This is one of the prettiest bath bombs I've ever seen. The vibrant colours are stunning! This scent is refreshing with hints of peppermint that create rainbow water in your bath! I'm yet to use this one, although it sounds amazing!

Bunch of carrots Easter bubble bar: Thank you to the lovely lady at LUSH whose intriguing words provoked me into buying this! First off, how cute are the little carrots! This year they added a pink and purple carrot, rather than just plain orange. The scent is tropical-like and fresh.

That is all I purchased from LUSH! I can't wait to have more cozy, warm baths as it is getting into the colder weather in Australia. I hope you enjoy your long weekend and Happy Easter!

Love always,

Sara

2016 February Favourites ♡

It's funny looking back on a month and seeing how you've changed from the last. February was like that for me. I feel like every since I went back to school, everything changed. My priorities, mind set and stress levels, to name a few. It's been difficult keeping up with my blog but it feels good to have a break from the real world. Any who, I know this post is pretty late but I discovered a few things in February so as always, I thought i'd share them with you.

♡ Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick in '200, it's a keeper'*: I've been wearing this lipstick like crazy. Rimmel brought out a new range of lipsticks this past month and I love it! The shades in the collection are so vibrant and fun. This colour is a mauve pink with a slight purple undertone. It looks beautiful on all skin shades. The pigmentation is amazing and the formula lasts for ages! I did a full review on these lipsticks here.

♡ Calvin Klein CK2 Fragrance*: Calvin Klein brought out a new fragrance in the past month and I am so obsessed with it. Just like many other CK scents, this one is gender free - meaning both males and females can wear and admire this fragrance. The packaging is so simple and classy. It smells so fresh and I've been getting a tonne of compliments on it so definitely check it out if you have the chance!

♡ Sukin Sensitive Facial Moisturiser and Cleansing Gel: This combination has been apart of my everyday skincare routine. My skin has never looked better using these products. The cleanser is so gentle and makes my skin feel so clean. The moisturiser makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated. Sukin is an amazing affordable brand whose skincare is natural and of course Vegan and cruelty free! Because we know animal testing is bad. I highly recommend these to try!

Music:
The art of escape - Hein Cooper
The real - Hein Cooper
Rusty - Hein Cooper
Back when we had nothing - Banners

Book:
A stolen life by Jaycee Dugard - This book is quite upsetting, graphic yet so touching. It's about the author, Jaycee who was kidnapped when she was just 11 years old and held captive for 18 years. The story conveys the horrific events that occurred to her during that time. I don't want to get into too much detail because it may upset some of you. I would highly suggest checking it out if you're interested because it touched my heart.

TV Show:
I'm currently in the mist of watching friends. I have seen so many episodes, but felt like it was time to start from the beginning. Netflix was a bad idea since I've got exams coming up but hey, it's friends. It always cheers me up.

Memory:
The highlight of my month was definitely seeing James Bay. On the 6th of February I got to see the guy whose music has had such a strong impact on my life. From feeling sad, anxious or stressed, James Bay's voice instantly makes be feel so much better. His concert was absolutely incredible and I wish I could relive it over and over. It's funny how just by listening to someone's music, you can instantly feel a connection. That's exactly how James Bay makes me feel and I'm so happy I discovered him.

That is all my loves. Apologies for not uploading as much. Exams and assignments have been hell! I hope you are enjoying March!

Love always,
Sara
