Rimmel London The Only One Lipsticks

Rimmel London is my favourite drug store brand and I was super keen to hear that they've come out with a new lipstick line, "The Only One'. These lipsticks came out in the UK a while ago now and I'm so happy they've finally come to Australia. I was luckily gifted 6 of 12 lipsticks to try and review for you all. The shades range from pinks to corals to reds; so there may be a shade for you!

To start off, these lipsticks state they are vibrant, light weight and not drying. They have vitamin E infused moisture and claim to last for hours. I found that the application was quite difficult. The colours are very opaque, however, the flat top bullet doesn't allow any precision and due to that, the lipstick applied messily. So, you may have to take extra care when applying it! The scent of the lipsticks is a little strong for me but it goes away when applied. I'm a fan of the lasting finish because it is comfortable and long-wearing. The packaging isn't anything special, however, the strip of colour is useful in depicting what shade is inside.

LEFT to RIGHT:
#120 You're All Mine
#200 It's A Keeper
#300 Listen Up!
#500 Revolution Red
#610 Cheeky Coral
#810 One - Of - A - Kind

#120 You're All Mine - This one is a classic barbie pink shade. It has a blue undertone to it and applies beautifully on the lips.

#200 It's A Keeper - This shade is a mauve-pink. It's one of the natural shades in the collection and is definitely my favourite.

#300 Listen Up! - I am so in love with this shade. It's a deep raspberry pink/red and is crazy opaque!

#500 Revolution Red - This one is a bright red with an orange undertone. I've never owned red like this but it is so stunning!

#610 Cheeky Coral - Just like the name, this one is a classic coral. It applies the smoothest out of all the shades I've tried and is gorgeous for spring/summer.

#810 One - Of - A - Kind - This is the perfect wine red with a brown undertone. I adore this shade, however, I found it to be the most difficult to apply. You definitely have to take time with this one!

Overall, I think Rimmel London have done an amazing job in creating such vivid and beautiful colours. I would have loved them even more if they had the traditional bullet for application, however the pigmentation and lasting power is incredible. I highly recommend these to try! They do retail for $15.95 which is more than the previous Rimmel lipsticks, although, you can catch them on sale at Priceline!

Have a lovely day.

Love always,

Sara.
