Beauty Haul: Priceline & Mecca Maxima

Good day lovely people and happy Sunday! I did some shopping recently and accumulated some goods that I just had to share.

♡ Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette: I'm a huge lover of the Naked 1 Palette so I kinda needed this. I wanted a palette with matte shadows that I can wear everyday and this so far has been amazing.  The shadows are so buttery and blend easily. 100% Worth the investment!

♡ Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation: I recall using this a long time ago. The Rimmel London range at Priceline was 50% off so I thought, why not take a trip down memory lane and see if it was good or not. I'm still yet to use it, however, I remember it being light weight and gave my skin a radiant glow.

♡ Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer: I freaking love this concealer. Always have, probably always will. It's perfect for brightening the under eyes and it's super light weight on the skin so I had to re-purchase it!

♡ Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser: I ran out of this so I had to buy it again! This moisturiser makes my skin feel so soft. Only downside is that there is no SPF.

Those are the products I picked up recently. Let me know if you have tried any yourself!
Have a wonderful day!

A Little Too Much

"Sometimes it all gets a little too much,
But you gotta realise that soon the fog will clear up"

Hello whoever is reading this.I was reflecting on myself earlier today, which is very important to do. I reflected on my life, my health and mental state. I also reflected on how relieving it was for me to write my thoughts in a blog post. I reflected on how different I felt last year compared to now.

1 year ago I decided to make this blog. I wanted to make it so that I can write down my thoughts and feelings. Instead of a journal or diary which I never write in, I thought having a blog and sharing what goes through my mind on a written document would really benefit me and it has. I have enabled myself to open up in some ways whether it'd be through a post on a product review or a post on the latest fashion trends.

I flicked back to my first ever post called 'Getting Started'. I mentioned how I believed having a blog will help me over come obstacles and challenges as a growing teen and it has. I remember going through a bad stage in my life where I felt so much anger and confusion. Writing a post allowed me to un-jumble the words in my head and helped everything make sense.

A while ago now I discovered a song. This song is called "A Little Too Much" by Shawn Mendes. I love this song because it's the perfect reminder when your feeling down to come to realisation that you're not alone and you don't have to be afraid.

Sometimes it all get's a little too much and you have to be around people that will help you through it. You have to have quiet time to reflect and reevaluate your life. You have to understand that you are not alone and we are all the same in some ways. We all go through hardship, we all feel like our lives suck. It's not easy to overcome things whether that's a fight between your friends or a break up. Remember that even if it takes you months and months (like myself), eventually you will feel happy and stronger.

One thing I learnt about starting a blog is that sometimes life get's a little too much to handle and that feeling doesn't last forever. You have to be around people that will lift you up and understand that it will get better. I encourage you to find a song that you can rely on to cheer you up.

Have a wonderful week

Love always,
sara

2015 June Favourites ♡

Hello beauties, we are now in the month of July! I can't believe how much of 2015 has gone by. Nothing too exciting to share has happened this month, however, these are some of the things I have been loving!

Too Faced 'Better Than Sex' Mascara: This is the best mascara I have ever used! (I was a little late on the band wagon). This mascara gives my lashes length and volume, which is something I always look for since I have really stumpy and thin lashes. The wand is made of fibres and the shape allows me to coat my lashes from root to tip. Holy grail.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Powder Foundation: I've been loving this powder to touch up my foundation through out the day. I haven't tried using this as a foundation, however, as a powder it is perfect because it adds a slight coverage to the skin. It's not as good as my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, although it is perfect to throw in your bag because of the compact mirror and sponge.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in '101 Celestial': This has been my go too lip product! It's a beautiful, medium pink shade that is super easy to wear with every make up look. The formula is very comfortable to wear and it lasts for ages! It gives a semi-glossy finish to the lips and is easy to apply because of the doe-foot applicator.

Lush 'Catastrophe Cosmetic' Face Mask: I have been obsessing over this face mask! I've never tried a Lush face mask before (surprisingly), and so I picked up this one to try and I have been loving it. My skin has been awful and I needed something to repair it. It removes all the dirt and excess make up and oils clogging the pores on the skin. This mask not only smells amazing but makes my skin feel smooth, fresh and clean.

Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction - Untamed Fragrance Mist: I'm a massive fan of the original 'Pure Seduction' mist, so when I saw this in the store, I was exciting. I love these mists as they're perfect to spray after showering or when you need to freshen up. It's a very flirty and florally scented perfume which is great for Spring time (I know it's Winter shhh). I believe it's also limited edition!

Music:
Good for you - Selena Gomez
Flashlight - Jesse J
Get over it - Mcbusted
Different Colours - Walk The Moon
Heavy Handed - James Bay

Tv Show:
Orphan Black: This show is so addictive!

Drink:
Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks: This is heavenly.

And they are my favourites from the month of June! I hope July is good to you
