Mecca Maxima Mini Haul

Mecca Maxima is probably one of my favourite stores; Even though the majority of products there is out of my budget. It's still nice to splurge/spoil yourself once in a while so I wanted to treat myself and this is what I got....

♡ Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette: This item has been on my wish list for a very long time. I was extremely excited when Urban Decay launched at Mecca last month and as wished for, I got myself this gem. It's definitely now my favourite eye-shadow palette. The shades are stunning and glide on beautifully. I think if you want an eye shadow palette, this one is perfect. I'm so glad I splurged on this one!

♡ Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray 20ml: Another item on my wish list was the All Nighter Setting Spray. I never tried a setting spray before so I wanted to get this as I've heard many people rave on about it. I got the 20ml one as it was less expensive and I wanted to see if it was good or not. I was a bit sceptical at first because I have oily skin. However, so far I've been enjoying it. I haven't really seen a major difference in the lasting of my foundation because I need to play around with it more.

♡ Kit Cosmetics Blender Sphere: Random purchase but my current Real Techniques Miracle Sponge is in awful condition so I needed a new blender/sponge. I haven't used this one yet, hence why it's clean. I find applying foundation/blending concealer really easy when I used a sponge so I'm keen to see how this one works. It's pink too (probably won't be for long) which is my current colour obsession.

That's all I picked up from Mecca recently. I would of purchased more but I didn't really need anything.

Have a good day!

Chocolate-Almond Protein Balls

I've been dying to find a protein ball recipe that I can make at home that is quick and easy. I came up with this chocolate/almond/coco-nutty goodness protein ball recipe that not only tastes good but is perfect for a pre/post workout snack or a bite when feeling peckish.

What you need:

- 130g rolled oats (blended in blender or you could use oat flour)
- 3 tsp cocoa powder
- 30g chocolate protein powder of your choice (I used bulk nutrients pure supplements chocolate whey protein isolate powder)
- 3 tbsp almond butter/spread
- 2 tsp shredded coconut
- 1 tsp almond milk
- Water (add until ingredients combine)

What you do:

1. Place 130g of oat flour into a bowl
2. Add in your cocoa powder and chocolate protein powder
3. Add a tablespoon of almond milk into your mixture
4. Place 3 table spoons of almond butter/spread (I melted it in the microwave for 20 seconds)
5. Add 2 teaspoons of shredded coconut
6. Mix ingredients together
7. Add your water and continue to mix until ingredients combine
8. Roll into balls of any size
9. Roll balls into shredded coconut
10. Place the balls on top of a baking sheet as they are sticky
11. Place in fridge for 25-30 minutes
12. Enjoy!

These protein balls taste so yummy. With my ingredients I made 7 medium-large sized balls, however you can make them whatever size you like. These are the perfect snack as they will help with that 4pm awkward hour hunger strike.

2015 March Favourites ♡

Hello April and goodbye March. This past month wasn't too interesting, however, I got to try some lovely new products which I love! Here are my favourites...

Products i've been loving..

Maybelline Master Highlighting Blush in '30 Coral': I wore this blush the majority of the month and I love it! First of all, how pretty does it look. The mix all all different colours fascinate me (weird). This product works as a highlight and blush. It gives you a beautiful, radiant glow which makes your skin look lively. It's been perfect for that Spring to Autumn transition as it's not too bright or too dark. There's a few other shades in the collection so there's probably one that will suit your skin tone.

Inglot eyeshadows, Left = shade '154', Right = shade '12': I finally got a chance to try these pretty things out! Thanks to the girl at Inglot who helped me with my indecisive personality and made me come to a decision. Both these shades are beautiful and look amazing paired together. It's been my favourite eyeshadow combo this month!. The first one is a stunning gold shade and the second is an amazing red/brown/bronze (great description Sara), colour that looks amazing in real life.

Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil: I received this in my March Active Health Box. I've never tried rose hip oil before. I was a bit skeptical about whether this was going to have a reaction on my skin as it's sensitive. However, this has done nothing but make my skin look brighter, feel softer and help with the scaring on my cheeks! I like to press a few drops on my skin at night, after a cleanse and I wake up with nicer looking skin.

Chapstick Natural Papaw Lip Balm: I did a full review on this here. I have been absolutely loving this lip balm! I was lucky enough to get sent this early to try and I've been obsessed ever since. I've recommended it too all my friends; It leaves my lips feeling soft and smooth. The buttery texture and papaw help with dry-cracked lips so it's a staple for this cooler weather. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a good lip balm that will actually keep your lips soft for long!

Rimmel London Kate Lipstick in '107': I LOVE THIS LIPSTICK! It's the perfect burgundy-red shade for this Autumn/Winter. It's a matte formula, however, isn't drying. Although, I still like to apply chapstick before hand to prevent any discomfort. This lipstick lasts pretty well on my lips and doesn't flake off. I've been loving it and would recommend it if you're looking for a good red lipstick that isn't too bright.

♡ Music

Let her go - Passenger
Let it go - James Bay
Need the sun to break - James Bay
Mess is mine - Vance Joy
Georgia - Vance Joy

♡ TV Show

How to get away with murder. I've been obsessed with this show! I only started watching it a few days ago but I've watched almost the whole first season. I'm in-love with Jack Falahee and the whole show is just so addictive. It's about criminal defence/murder mysteries/law. You'd think it's boring but it's actually really interesting and you end up thinking you're a lawyer. (Just watch it)

They are my March Favourites. I don't really have a favourite food or memory this month, or nothing I can remember anyway. I hope April will be fun... Easter is around the corner, I'm very-kinda prepared for the chocolate...
