Kylie Jenner Affordable Lip Dupes

Kylie Jenner is known for her plump, matte lips and everyone has been talking about it. From what we know Kylie uses shades such as 'Velvet Teddy' and 'Twig' from Mac. Mac lipsticks are wonderful but not when you're on a budget....

So I was snooping through my collection and found 3 lipsticks from the drugstore that reminded me of Kylie. They're not exact, they're not matte, however, they're different shades that can be suited to your personal preference.

Shades & swatches from left to right

♡ Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 007 Asia
♡ Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 001 Pink Truffle
♡ Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 220 Heather Shimmer

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 007 Asia

This is one of my favourite lipsticks. It's a pinkish-mauve with a brown undertone. It looks amazing on the lips and has a semi-glossy finish.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 001 Pink Truffle

This is a mauve pink, again with a brown undertone like Kylie. Semi-glossy finish and looks perfect on every skin tone. It may look boring but it's stunning on the lips.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 220 Heather Shimmer

This one is definitely more mature looking but it's still super pretty. It's a peachy-brown-nude which looks really gorgeous on. This formula is amazing, super creamy and pigmented. It's also a shimmer with a semi-glossy finish.

I hope you found this some-what helpful, if you want a similar look to Kylie or you just want a nice-classy neutral shade for everyday wear!

Drugstore Beauty Haul

I recently went to my all time favourite store, Priceline, to pick up a couple of things that I needed. Some items are repurchases and some a new to my collection....

Australis AC ON TOUR Contouring & Highlighting Kit: My most exciting purchase! I've been on the hunt for this palette for weeks! So glad I finally have this in my life. I've played around with it and so far I'm enjoying it a lot. {Keep an eye out for a review coming soon ;)}

Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder, Transparent: This was a repurchase of mine. I always go on about how much I adore this powder and I've been through so many. My current one has hit pan and I thought since school is starting, why not pick up another!

Essence Lip Liner, '11 In The Nude': I love Essence lip liners; I featured them in my 'Best Beauty Discoveries of 2014' post. They're so nice and super cheap. I wanted a classic nude lip liner because I don't own one (well now I do) so I picked this up and have been wearing it everyday.

Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil '19 Hot Scorch' & '01 Black Fever': These liners have been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember. I've got many of the colours and they're just incredible, I always recommend them to people! They're a retractable crayon of a creamy texture. They last ages and are affordable. I picked up a bronze and a black.

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes: I ran out so I had pick up my favourite facial wipes. They're so gentle on the skin and are great for a freshen up.

Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser: I remember loving this product a while back so I picked it up once again. It's a really light weight moisturiser which I've been using day and night; I have noticed that my skin looks a lot better. Only downside is that there is not SPF!

They are the goodies I picked up from Priceline!

Pocket Size Cheek & Lip Tints?

Benefit Cheek & Lip Tints are my latest obsession. Having them pocket sized is the cutest thing ever. Also, a great way to try out the different shades, easy to throw in your hand bag and convenient for traveling. If you're unfamiliar with what these are, they're basically tinted liquids that you apply to your cheeks or lips that make your complexion a little brighter. I have 3 blush colours and 1 high light. These are beautiful and leave your skin glowing.

Bene Tint, Posie Tint, Cha Cha Tint & High Beam

I'm definitely more of a lipstick type of girl so I wouldn't really wear these on my lips (unless it was for school). They're nice for days when you don't want to put too much effort into your make up, days when you're feeling lazy or days when you're feeling a bit dull and need a bit of a boost.

Bene Tint & Posie Tint

Bene Tint is a gorgeous red shade. Even though it looks like running blood (TMI) don't get afraid when you apply it to the cheeks because it adds the most beautiful red flush. It's also a gorgeous one to wear on the lips!

Posie Tint is my favourite out of the tints. It's a pretty pink colour that basically suits every skin tone. It's easy to throw on with every make up look and makes your skin look rosy and healthy.

Cha Cha Tint & High Beam

Cha Cha Tint is a beautiful orange shade. Definitely a nice one for the summer time because it looks real healthy and bright.

High Beam has been an obsession. Just started getting into high-lighting the tops of my non-existing cheek bones to really add a nice healthy glow. Been loving radiant skin and this has helped me. The pearl sheen adds a beautiful shine.

Over all, these tints have been apart of my everyday make-up routine. I use them over blush which is hard to believe. I love the finish they give. They make the skin look radiant and bright. They're a great way of testing out the Benefit tints instead of buying the full size for a high price. If you're wondering where I bought them, the 'Cha Cha Tint' came in a set with a blush whilst 'High Beam', 'Posie Tint' and 'Bene Tint' came in a set of 3 at Sephora.

Fuchsia Crazy

Fuchsia is probably my all-time favourite lip colour. I love bright lips - especially in the Summer time. These are my favourite Fuchsias....

♡ Lime Crime Lipstick in 'Centrifuchsia': You've probably seen this all over my blog but I just love it so much. It's my favourite out of the 5; It's crazy opaque and long wearing. I can eat and drink without it coming off which is the best feeling *laughs*. It is light weight on the lips, leaves a gorgeous stained finish and is comfortable to wear.

♡ Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in '906 Hot Plum': This was my favourite lipstick last summer. It's more of a plum-purple but still is under the category of 'fuchsia'. This is also long wearing and comfortable on the lips. It's a creamy texture and I adore it.

♡ Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in '220 Showy Flamboyante': This is more of a deeper pink so it's perfect if you don't want a crazy, bold and bright lip. It's a matte finish, however, it's not drying and sits on the lips comfortably. Again, it's long wearing, smells like peppermint, easy to apply and is a lovely shade of pink.

♡ Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in '160 Fifth Ave. Fuchsia': This one is more darker than the others, almost wine-ish looking. Still a fuchsia, still bold and stunning. As well as the others, this is opaque, long wearing, comfortable and gives a really nice, semi-glossy finish to the lips.

♡ Bourjois Color Boost Balm in '02 Fuchsia Libre': This is less harsh than the other shades, however, it's still bright and fun. It's a glossy balm so it's super moisturising and balm-textured. It's not long wearing, although it does leave your lips with a tint. It's a winner if you want to get into the bold lips, but not too confident in them because it's not of a opaque texture.

Lush Favourites

If you know me, you know that I'm Lush obsessed. I love bathing is sweet scents and I love anything that will make me feel all nice and relaxed. Lush is my go-to relaxation method. I love the scents, I love how they're natural and I love how soothing the products are. These are just some of my favourite Lush goodies and keep in mind that the majority are Christmas limited edition.

My latest obsession is the Snow Fairy Shower Gel. I'm in love with the candy floss scent. It leaves the skin feeling soft, shimmery and sweet smelling. It's a best seller and unfortunately only comes out at Christmas time, so if you ever see it in store, definitely pick it up! If you love sweet scents, this is for you!

This is FUN. It's pink and smells just like the Snow Fairy Shower Gel. I haven't actually used this yet but wanted to include it because of how cute it is. It's basically natural and nice smelling play dough. You can make different shapes and use it as shampoo, body wash and/or you can even use this in your bath just by running a piece under the tap. Smells heavenly and a little thing to do when you're bored. Can't wait to use it.

Lush Bubblegum and Santa's Lip Scrub. I hate dry, flakey lips and these scrubs save my life. The pink one (the one on the left) is bubblegum scented and it super sweet. The bubblegum scrub is apart of Lush's range so you can pick it up anytime of the year. There's also a few other flavours if you're not a sweet fan. Santa's lip scrub is a newbie to my collection. It's coke scented and is just wonderful. This scrub gives your lips a red-tint when used which it super nice. Both these scrubs leave the lips feeling soft and make lipstick application so much easier.

The most exciting bit are the bath products. The white bath bomb is called 'Butter Ball' and it's one of my favourites. It's vanilla scented and soothes the skin, releasing bits cocoa butter into the water to really relax the body. Butter ball is also permanent in the range. The pink one is called 'The Comforter'. I love the comforter because it smells sweet and like marshmallows. You crumble a piece under running water and it creates these gorgeous pale pink bubbles. This is also permanent in the range. Lastly, the yellow bath bomb is called 'Cinders'. I love this one because it smells like cinnamon and crackles in the bath. It's warm and comforting and I love it but sadly it's limited edition and only comes out at Christmas time.

They are my warm and fuzzy Lush favourites. There's defiantly going to be heaps of Lush posts coming because I'm crazy obsessed and love a good bath. If you have any recommendations on Lush products, comment them below because I'd love to try out some more!

Celebrity Style Crushing: Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato is a queen. Who she is as a person is so inspiring to me, her music is blissful and I'm seeing her in concert this year. She's an amazing role model and her fashion looks have been incredible. With high requests, I thought it was time to dedicate a blog post to this beautiful soul...

Demi's style is described as edgy, glamorous, chic, girly yet still rocky. What I really love about her style is that she can make a girly dress - edgy with black combat boots and a leather jacket.

I like to call this one 'white throw over'. Love this look on Demi. The black and white theme is so Lovato - style and I love how she accessorised this look. Keeping it edgy, Demi paired up this black, simple dress with combat boots, stacked necklaces and a black purse. And of course she added the white, sheer throw over to complete the look.

Miss Lovato loves wearing dark colours. Demi wore this all-black outfit at the airport. Keeping warm and fuzzy, she wore this black playsuit, paired up with black boots, a black Givenchy hand bag and a long, charcoal, throw over coat. Keeping the accessorises at minimal, she added a gold bracelet.

Varsity glam. Demi wore this grey and white varsity jacket with a black tank, black jeans and black booties. Super casual yet glamorous with a Givenchy hand bag. Hair is back and out of her face making this look simple but still keeping on trend.

Airport Fashionista. Demi paired up a pair of ripped jeans with black boots, a black scarf and a black purse. To fight off the cold morning, she added a fuzzy jacket to throw over. Ripped jeans are a perfect all year round piece of clothing because you can basically pair them up with anything. Cuffing them at the ankles (like Demi did) can really change up the whole outfit.

Chic, girly and glam. Demi rocked this navy blue lace dress with a black purse and black pointed pumps. The pointed pumps make any look sophisticated and classy. Demi added a necklace to keep the accessories at minimal and keep the main focus on the dress.

More on the girly side of Demi but still edgy. Demi wore this beautiful floral dress and kept the accessories at minimal with a black belt tied around the waist, a black hand bag and black pointed pumps. Again, the pumps make the look chic and classy. I love how this dress has a Peter Pan collar, it gives it that something extra which I like.

My favourite look on Demi is this gorgeous red-rose dress! I adore the colour on Demi and love the shape of it. It goes in at the waist, which is super flattering and flairs out slightly at the bottom, like a skater skirt. The black pointed pumps make the look very chic and the black handbag doesn't counteract with the dress. The red lip completes the look!

.......and that is all. Demi is a beauty and her style choices are amazing. Which was your favourite look? and who do you want to see next?

December Beauty Favourites

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a happy holiday and ate as much as I did!
December was pretty crazy, Christmas was lovely and my bank account got angry (oops).
I found some sweet new loves this past month, so I thought I'd share them with you...

♡ Real Techniques Cheek Brush has been a favourite of mine this month. It's from the Nic's Pic's range, which is limited edition so defiantly pick it up if you have the chance. This came in a set with 4 other brushes which I also adore, but this one is just wonderful. I did a full review *here* on the collection, check it out if you're interested.

♡ Mac Blush in 'Peachy Keen' has also been an obsession. I pair this up with my Cheek Brush and it's the perfect combination. It's a beautiful pinky-peachy shade which adds gorgeous colour on the cheeks. The Cheek Brush also adds perfect application, making sure the right amount of colour is added to the cheeks. Super pretty and perfect for the Summer. I also did a full review on this baby *here*.

♡ Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Smokey Eye Mascara has been part of my everyday make up routine and I'm loving it. It gives your lashes length and volume. It's definitely not a crazy-wow-lash mascara but it definitely is a great one for everyday wear. I find if you curl your lashes before application, you get a better result.

♡ E.L.F Cream Eyeliner in 'Black'. I've been getting so many compliments on my eye liner this month because of this bad boy. I never really liked gel liners because of the time is takes to perfect it. However, I've been taking a lot more time with my make up and have been using this a tonne. I use an angled brush for easier use and it just looks so much nicer than a liquid. Not overly dramatic which I like, plus it's super cheap!

♡ Lime Crime Lipstick in Centrifuchsia. Been also getting a bunch of compliments on my lips because of this pretty lippy. After a weeks of wearing nude lips, I wanted to get back into the bright colours. Especially because it's summer. I wore this on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Years and basically the whole month. It's the perfect fuchsia and is so opaque and creamy and lasts for ages and I love it a lot, okay!

♡ Mac Lipstick in Creme Cup. Even though I said I was moving on to the bright lips, I can't go past this  beautiful thing. This is a Creme-sheen and is the perfect nude, especially on my pale skin. It's got a pink undertone to it which is what I love. It's a perfect everyday shade and I've been wearing this to work and I just love it. Adds the perfect sheen to the lips and is so pretty!

♡ Cover-girl XL Nail Gel in 800 Ample Apple. I love the colour of this. It's a bright, candy-apple red and looks super nice on the nails. This is a gel formula which is what I like about it because it makes the nails hard, (mine are horrible and chip like crazy) It dries fast and you only really need 1-2 coats to get opaque colour payoff. The only downside about this is that it's not long lasting (as is claims). I don't know if it's just me but I don't think any nail varnish can last more than a week, on my nails anyway.

MUSIC FAVOURITES!

~ Like I Can by Sam Smith
~ Lay Me Down by Sam Smith
~ Jealous by Nick Jonas
~ Only Thing I Ever Get This Christmas by Justin Bieber
~ Christmas Eve by Justin Bieber

And that is all my lovelies. I hope 2015 is good to you.
