Celeb Style File: Kendall Jenner

She is known for her laid back style. She has a classy side but still makes her looks super comfy and chill. These are just a few of my favourite looks on miss Kendall Jenner.

This is for all you girlies out there. This is obviously more of a dressier outfit but I absolutely love it. The cropped baby yellow sweater looks so adorable paired up with this amazing pencil skirt. I love how all the attention goes to the skirt. The soft yellow as well as the nude pointed heels compliment the skirt really well with not being too over powering. Looks very classy and cute.

Love this look. This outfit is very simple and can be worn in different ways. Kendall paired these lovely jeans up with a white button up shirt as well as white pumps and a white clutch. Both these colours compliment each other well and look chic. You could easily pair up this outfit with flats to dress it down a little.

Casual, chic and a little edgy. Another simple outfit. Kendall paired these light wash jeans with a sweater and black accessories. The leather jacket and boots give more of an edgy feel to the look.
The black shoulder bag obviously ties together with. Cute outfit for the cooler weather and great way to style a leather jacket.

Kendall wore these black skinny jeans with a white tank, black bag, comfy flats and blue jacket. I love how the shoes and jacket compliment each other in colour.  Kendall kept this look simple yet still fashionable.

Very cute way to style a pop of colour. Kendall kept the outfit simple with white pants and white top as well as nude heels and a denim jacket. She added that bright orange handbag as a pop of colour to really draw your attention to the bag. Bright bags are always fun if you style them correctly!

Love this outfit on Kendall. She, as always kept it super casual and comfy in ripped jeans, wedges and a cropped long sleeve shirt. The colours in the crop top compliment the blue in the jeans and make the look fun and cute. The shoes have a little wedge in them which adds a little something to the look. Love the ripped jeans trend and love it on Kendall.

These are just a few of my favourite outfits on Kendall Jenner that give me inspiration on how to  pair different clothing items.

Things can get tough

I have been going through a tough time with myself recently and no matter how hard I try to look at the positives in life, the negatives keep bouncing back. I've been under a lot of stress with school and other things in my life. Self doubt runs through my mind and I can't seem to control it. But I guess that's typical teenage problems. It's important as humans to focus on the good things in life and not worry about the bad things that can happen. No matter how tough things get, we need to remind ourselves that the pain will go away..

But how? - There are so many ways we can overcome these obstacles. Some of the ways that help me include listening to music, getting lost in a book, meditating, giving myself some time to breathe and reminding myself that it will be okay eventually.

Music: Not only what you hear, but something you feel. A method of escape, a reminder.

I love listening to music, every day. I love listening to songs that have a meaning to me, or songs that I can relate to. There's a song for everything and every mood. I believe everyone can relate to a song no matter what it may be. When I loose hope I like listening to songs that remind me that my life isn't over. When I feel anxious, I listen to songs that calm me down.

For example;
- Just Keep Breathing: We the Kings
- Impossible Is Nothing: Iggy Azalea
- Afire Love: Ed Sheeran
- Paradise: Cold Play
- Be Alright: Justin Bieber
- Skyscraper: Demi Lovato
- Pretty Hurts: Beyonce
- Happy Little Pill: Troye Sivan
- By The Grace Of God: Katy Perry
- Who You Are: Jesse J
- Somewhere Only We Know: Keane

Reading: Distracts you physically, mentally and emotionally. A method of taking your mind of something.

Reading is an escape. I don't do it a lot but i'm trying. Reading a book gets you lost in another world and distracts you from reality, which is what we need sometimes. It takes your mind off things and gives you time to relax and take a breather from your life. Reading anything, any book, any magazine can give you a chance to loose your worries for however long it may be. Try reading if you ever feel like you need a distraction! :)

Meditating: focus of one's mind for a period of time

Mediating is a fun way to forget about everything. I try meditating once in a while when i'm under a lot of stress. It can be hard to focus on nothing when you have a lot on your mind but meditating relaxes the soul and contemplates your thoughts. It's difficult when you have a loud household but when you get 5 minutes of silence, use it wisely and meditate!

Breathing: calming yourself down, slowly

INHALE, EXHALE, REPEAT! We all breathe right? Sometimes we forget when we're feeling a bit anxious, but that's okay. Taking a breather when things get tough is very important. It allows you to catch your breath, calm yourself down and relax. Walking away from the situation and inhaling and exhaling slowly helps calm the soul.

Reminder: It will be okay in the end

And finally, reminders. It's extremely important to remind yourself that everything will be okay. No matter what. I know when things get crazy we can feel like we're going to die but IT'S GOING TO BE FINE! Remind yourself constantly that whatever the problem is, it won't last forever!

It's okay not to be okay!

Review: Maybelline Matte Maker Powder

Priceline were having 50% off Maybelline cosmetics so I thought i'd pick up this product and give it a try. Nothing compares to my 'Rimmel Stay Matte Powder' but I decided to give this a go.

First off, I have oily skin, especially in my T-Zone so I like a matte finish. This powder is matte so it ticks that box. The product comes in a typical pressed powder package. It's round with a screw off lid. Personally, I dislike the packing because I would prefer a standard lift up opening as it's more practical. The quality of the packing is not as sturdy as I hoped because when my mum purchased this powder it broke soon as she opened it. It also does not come with a mirror or standard powder puff.

However, the product itself is a lovely, buttery texture and is lightweight. It does mattify the skin without looking caked up. It's not as long wearing as I hoped but it's great for touching up make up. I was disappointed in the colour range as there was only 3 to choose from. I chose "Classic Ivory" as it was the lightest shade and the others were too dark. There were also no testers in store. This shade however is quite light for me so I don't apply a lot of it. In terms of coverage it's sheer but makes your face look flawless.

Overall, I think this is a great product even though the packing is not as amazing and practical. For the price I would recommend giving it a try for yourself and see if it suits your skin type. It may be your favourite powder.

First Impression & Review: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm & Laquer Balm

Very late on this trend but decided to pick up a Matte balm and a Lacquer balm from Revlon.
I love lip crayons because they're so easy to apply. However, I've been dying to try these ones for a while now. So I'm very excited to start wearing them.
 Matte Balm: 210 Unapologetic
 Laquer Balm: 110 Coquette

Thought these shades would look absolutely perfect this spring & summer!
(L-R) Lacquer Balm, Matte Balm
Swatches (L-R) Lacquer Balm, Matte Balm

♡ Lacquer Balm: Coquette ♡

First Impression: Stunning colour!
- Sheer
- Moisturising
- Balmy
- Creamy
- Build-able sheen
- Sweet minty scent

This is a medium-pink shade. Super stunning and flattering on pretty much every skin tone. This is the perfect everyday pink. I found it has tiny silver glitters in it which make the lips look really pretty! This is a very moisturising lip product. It's build able in colour and I love the sweet mint scent! Very impressed

♡ Matte Balm: Unapologetic ♡

First Impression: Bright & Fun
- Creamy
- Opaque
- Long-wearing
- Moisturising
- Peppermint scent

This is a bright-coral-fuschia shade. I love it a lot. It's bright and fun and perfect for summer. I've had bad experiences with matte lip products but this one is not drying at all!
It's creamy and easy to apply,I really like the formula. It doesn't make my lips look cracked or dry and is pretty long wearing.

Would definitely pick up more from both the Lacquer & Matte balms from Revlon. Highly recommend trying them out!

Celeb Style File: Kylie Jenner

I'm in love with Kylie Jenner and her style. She keeps it edgy and very fashionable. She's constantly updating her style, maintaining her role as a powerful teen trendsetter. These are some of my favourite looks on Kylie...

Simple yet fashionable. I love this outfit on Kylie. High wasted shorts are on trend and so cute. I love the detail in them. The combat boots give an edgy side to the look. The black bag and accessories all tie together and complete the outfit.

First off, how cute are these watermelon shorts! Patterned shorts are super cute for the spring and summer seasons. Kylie paired these adorable shorts with a grey crop top and combat boots to show off her style. To change the look up, you could pair this outfit with white converse, sandals or ballet flats to give a different vibe to the look.

So in love with this outfit on Kylie. Super cute and fun way to style ripped jeans. White shirt and flannel tied around the waist makes this look trendy and casual. You can accessorise with anything. Kylie did with Starbucks, haha

Kylie keeping it casual yet still stunning in her black and white converse. I absolutely love how the converse match the stripped crop top. Adorable way to style baggy jeans. Cuff the bottoms and it looks very stylish!

Another casual outfit by the queen. Comfy yet still cute. Black leggings, grey shirt and denim jacket make this outfit relaxed. Kylie accessorised with black boots and a black bag. You could accessorise this outfit anyway you like!

Fashionable way to style a denim jacker. Kylie is wearing a black dress paired up with a black bag and black and white converse. She added a denim jacket to look a little more casual and give it that pop of colour. I love how she paired this up with converse to look comfy and cute.

More on the dressier side of Kylie. I love the white playsuit paired up with the baby blue coat. The colours compliment each other really well. I'm obsessed with her heels! The nudish-cream shade on the heels tie together with the fedora which is really on trend this season.

For more of a girly style, the stunner is wearing a body con skirt paired up with a white crop top. knit cardigan, heels and a black purse. All these colours compliment each other and look girly yet still chic and a little edgy with the black bag. The long kit cardigan makes the look really cute and loveable. You could pair this up with flats instead of heels to make this outfit a little more casual.

These are my favourite looks on Kylie Jenner.

Positive Thoughts

If someone told you that your shirt was ugly, would you wear that shirt again? What about if someone told you that your voice is weird, would you want to talk again? Or if someone told you that your smile is awful, would you want to smile again? Some would, some wouldn't. Some would change to please, some would hide and some wouldn't care.

Sometimes we let the negative thoughts take over our life. Whether it be the way we look, the way we dress or the way we act. Sometime in your life, someone is going to tell you that you aren't good enough or you aren't worthy enough or you aren't pretty enough. At the end of the day, who are they to tell you that you're not good enough, who gives a sh*t what anyone says. YOU are YOU, being who YOU are is good enough, YOU shouldn't change for anyone.

"A positive person anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty."

Positive thinking can happen with self talk, talking to yourself. As weird as it sounds, it can make a difference. Instead of waking up in the morning and putting yourself down. Look in the mirror and tell yourself "today is going to be a good day", "I like how my eyes look today", "My hair looks good today". Saying small positive things to yourself can really make your day a little brighter.  Instead of telling yourself that you can't do it, tell yourself that you can! 99% of the things you worry about, never happen.

It's so easy to put yourself down and back away from something that could lead to something even better.  Say YES to opportunities, think positive and positive things will happen :)

Top 5 Blushes

If there's one make up product that can immediately brighten up someone's day, it's blush.
Blush makes your skin look radiant and healthy. It adds a flush to your cheeks which makes you look dainty and happy, when applied correctly, that is...

These are my top 5 blushes, my favourites out of the blushes I have tried. They vary in pricing, but all give a gorgeous glow to my skin; Most of these shades a very similar but they're great ok bye.

1. Too Faced; Sweet Heart Blush; Candy Glow: I love this product, first of all can we take a moment to appreciate the cutest packaging!  This is the prettiest blush I have ever seen in my life. As you can see, there are three different pinky-peach shades. I love having the option to choose which colour I'd like, but all three swirled together look absolutely stunning, especially on paler skin. It gives a beautiful glow to the face without being too harsh It's light weight and very build able. This blush provides the perfect flush to the cheeks with just the right amount of shimmer to add the perfect healthy glow. Highly recommend!

2. NYX Powder Blush; PB25 Pinched: This blush is so stunning! It's a bit lighter on camera but it's a gorgeous shimmery, natural pink. Super pretty and super pigmented. Glides on easily, blends out really well and creates a healthy glow to the skin. Very build able without looking like a clown. Easy to use, good value and light weight. Nothing but good things to say about this blush. There's also a very wide colour range for different skin tones, so in love.

3. e.l.f Blush; Peachy Keen: I mentioned this in my July Beauty Favourites. Beautiful colour. Don't get turned off my the gold glitters, at first I was but when I started to use it more, the glitters didn't appear on my face, only lightly. A lot of people complain about the glitter, but if used correctly and applied light handed, this is perfect. It adds a really pretty peachy colour to the skin and gives a healthy sheen. Looks amazing in the sunlight, been wearing it every day. Super in expensive, so it's worth a try!

4. NYX Rouge Cream Blush; Boho Chic: You can probably tell I love my NYX. This is a cream blush, very beautiful. It's a baby pink shade and super creamy. This blush gives the most stunning sheen to the face. I found the colour itself doesn't last hours but the glow stays on for a while. I apply this with my fingers which I feel is the easiest way and blends really well. Again, wide colour selection and over all a lovely blush.

5. Bourjois Blush; 34 Rose D'or/Golden Rose; The famous Bourjois blush. Such a stunning product. It comes with a built in mirror so its super convenient and a brush but of course I lost it *laughs*.  Packaging is adorable, it closes on a magnet. It's a beautiful, shimmery pink, baked blush. Blends out seamlessly and is also slightly perfumed. The scent reminds me of my mothers dressing table. I don't normally like scented products but it's not overpowering at all. Heavenly blush, would defiantly repurchase this once it's used up.

So they are my top 5 blushes. Hope this makes you want to go out and try something new.

July Beauty Favourites

It's that time of the month again, not that one but yes the one where the internet is overloaded with what people having been loving for the month. I've never done one of these before, so this is very exciting *laughs* I'd thought I'd keep it simple and share my favourite beauty products that I have been enjoying the past month.

The products I've been crazy for this past month

1. VO5: Give me texture: According to the label, this is a dry texturising spray with sea salt, for effortless, sexy undone hair. If you're like me and have very fine hair, this is your new best friend. I've been loving using this product after I curled my hair to give it a little texture or even when I'm too lazy to do my hair. I just spray this in, scrunch my hair and my hair looks like I spent a lot of time on it. This product claims to add grip to your hair so your hair style lasts longer which I believe is definitely true. I am obsessed!

2. e.l.f: High definition under eye setting powder: This is a translucent powder for under the eye. I love this product because it sets my under eye concealer. I find that my concealer doesn't crease on me and I've only recently noticed that it gives a "soft focus" to the under eye area. A lot of people say that it applies too heavy or they get glitter on their face, but I use my Real Techniques setting brush (another favourite of mine) and it works fine. This powder also slightly brightens up under the eye. If you look like a zombie in the morning, and need a little awakening, this is perfect!

3. Real Techniques: Setting Brush: As mentioned above, I have been loving this brush. The tip of the brush is tapered which perfect for getting into the inner corners of the eyes. I've been using this to apply my under eye setting powder and it works wonders. Real Technique brushes are my favourite because they don't loose their shape when they're washed. These synthetic brushes are light handled and easy to use. A definite "must-have"!

4. Maybelline: Instant age rewind eraser & dark circle treatment concealer: I'm a little late on this trend but this concealer has saved me from the worst. As you can see I've used a fair bit of this product. It has to be the only concealer I've tried that hides them awful dark circles under my eyes. This is in the shade "light pale" because I am quite pale but it does brighten up the under eye area as well as other features on my face. It is a wind up sponge application and erases dark circles and puffiness to make you look less of a zombie. As previously mentioned, I use a setting powder on top to prevent creasing as I found it did start to crease later on in the day because of the creamy consistency. Besides that, I'm in love.

5. e.l.f: Studio Blush: Another e.l.f product! This doesn't actually have the name of the colour on the product which is annoying but I'm pretty sure it's in the shade "Peachy Keen". At first I was turned off because of the gold glitter in the blush but then I started to use it more and fell in love. Yes, it has glitter and yes, it shows up on your cheeks. However, only slightly and it looks super gorgeous especially in the sunlight. Very buidable, not chalky and makes you look healthy! This beautiful pink-peach shade looks stunning, especially on pale skin. It makes you look more alive and gives a pretty flush to the cheeks. Love it a lot!

6. Cover girl: Flamed out mascara: At first, I was a little let down by this mascara but after a few more uses, I started to like it, a lot. There's been bad reviews on this mascara but I found this one to be natural looking on my lashes. The unusual, curvy wand curls my lashes, I don't even have to use a lash curler. I only use 1-2 coats because it can get clumpy. Although, It doesn't budge, and washes off easily. It gives more length than volume to the lashes. I've been really liking it and have been using it everyday. Worth a try!

And these are my favourite products in the month of July.
